If 5 lights of resistance 2200 ohms are connected in parallel then the equivalent resistance would be 2200/5 ohms.
Reading of ammeter is the current I. And I = V/R
So I = 220 / (2200/5)
= 220 * 5 / 2200
= 0.5 Amps
