Area of 7 square beds = 4×7=28cm^2.
For the rectangular land,
length = 8 m.
breadth = 5 m
Area = l×b
= 8×5

Area of remaining part of land
= Area of rectangular field - Area of 7 square beds.
= 40-28
= 12cm^2
