let the digits of the number at 100 and 10s place be x and y therefore number obtained=100x+y
therefore x-y=3,x=3+y
know ATQ
100x+y=4(100y+x)
from above x can be replace as
100(3+y)+y=4(100y+3+y)
300+100y+y=404y+12
303y=288
therefor y =288/303
and hence x can be found by putting value of y above and form the number .
