So, the another part as 72 - x
According to Question,
Given : 12 × One part + 5 × second Part = 472
12(x) + 5(72 - x) = 472
⇒ 12x + 360 - 5x = 472
⇒ 7x + 360 = 472 [By transposition]
⇒ 7x = 472 - 360
⇒ 7x = 112 [By transposition]
⇒ x = 112 / 7
⇒ x = 16

72 - x = 72 - 16 = 56
