Given:V=220V

P=10W

I=5A

Let the no. of lamps be x

We know that, In parallel connection P.D. remains same. Hence,Power of x lamps=Potential

difference(V)

×Current (I)

i.e. P×x=V×I

10×x=220×5

x=220×5÷10

x=22×5

x=110

Therefore,110 lamps can be connected in parallel.
