Subject: Benefits of computer skills for students

Sir:

I am writing this letter to your wise self to share my views with readers on the topic of benefits of computers for school children. There are unnecessary and unscientific arguments issuing forth from some quarters against the use of computers by children at schools.

The good news is scientists have found computers play a pivotal role in the development of fine-motor skills of young children. On the basis of research done in this field, scientists found that using mouse and keyboard actually hones users’, especially the children’s fine-motor skills.

Scientists have used computers in rehabilitating stroke patients. The patients regained control of their limbs using mouse and keyboard faster.

Through the medium of your reputed magazine I appeal to the people and concerned authorities to promote use of computers, especially among school children. Computer subject must be made compulsory at all senior secondary classes. I hope you will give enough space to my views in your magazine for spreading the right awareness.

Thanking you,

Yours truly,

Upen Mehta
