sex is determined by the chromosomes. If the sex chromosomes are xx it meaans a girl child and if they are xy then its a boy child

Hey dear friend, here is your answer..........
Sex is determined by the chromosomes. A person has 46 chromosomes, (deploid) , out of which 23 are autosomes and last two pairs ( XY, in male and XX in female) are sex chromosome. When the, X chromosome fuse with X then a girl is formed and when X is fused with Y then boy is formed. And father is responsible for this purpose.
