Asexual reproduction involves one parent and produces offspring that are genetically identical to each other and to the parent. Sexual reproduction involves two parents and produces offspring that are genetically unique.

Answer:

Sexual and Asexual reproduction are the two kinds of reproduction by which a new organism can be exist or became by the existing organisms.

  1. Sexual Reproduction : Sexual reproduction by the name only you can understand that it consists of two gametes which is one is male gametes and another one is female gametes.

Gametes means the sex cells of the organism.

So, whenever the new organism will form due to the fusion of two sex cells which is male and female sex since then it is considered as the sexual reproduction.

Example: Human,etc..

2. Asexual Reproduction : Asexual reproduction is the just opposite of the sexual reproduction. In this only one parent or one gammets or sex cell is needed to form a new organism.

So, when the new organism will exist due to only one gamete of one parent it means it is considered as a asexual reproduction.

Example: Fungi , etc..
