I completely agree with the statements.
As sexually reproduction involves two different parents so the chromosomal variation is obvious to be seen in the offspring.
On the other hand, in case of asexual reproduction, a single parent is involved in reproducing its offspring.
Mitotic cell division takes place and it creates daughter cells / offsprings which bear identical features because they are genetically identical to their parent.
So, they are replica of their parent.
