applying the second equation of motion s= ut + 1/2 at²

x1= u×10- 1/2 a×(10)²

x1= 10u- 50a ----(1)

for magnitude of x2 for next 20 seconds

x2= u×20- 1/2×a×(20)²

x2= 20u - 200a -----(2)

x3= x2-x1= (20u-200a) - (10u+50a)

x3= 10u-150a ----(3)
