Molecular wt of water (MW) = 18 g/mol

density of water (Density) = 1000 g/L

So if we divide “Density” by “MW”, we get 1000 (g/L) /18 (g/mol) = 55.55 (mol/L).

That means in one liter of water, we have 55.55 mole of water molecules. And that is its Molarity.
