‘Shadows are misleading’. Reasons for the statement are,
- Shadow is a dark area formed usually on surfaces like floor or wall. It is formed when rays of light goes through any object.
- So according to science talking about the Ray of light from the Sun which is the main origin of light, it is proved that shadows are smaller in the sunrise and larger during daytime.
- The shape size and position of the entity whose shade is created may change with a shift in the position of a beam of light or its intensity.
- Shadows do not give a clear definition of the entity it provides a misleading image of the entity also the position of the entity cannot be analysed with the assistance of shadow.
