By the morning the the colour of the white petals will change to red.

Explanation:

The colour will change because of the the transport of coloured water from the roots to the upper portion of flower through xylem vessels. The water moves up because of the capillary action of the tubes and is absorbed in the cells of petals which cause the colour to change from white to a lighter shade of red.
