Shahnaz and Shama jog around a triangular
park every day. If the sides of the park are
50 m, 65 m and 85 m, and they take 5 rounds of it,what distance do they cover?​

Answer:

As you must be knowing, the perimeter of a triangle is the sum of all its sides. To get the distance covered by them in 1 round, we will add the park's sides.

So, the sides are 50m, 65m and 85 m and its sum is 50+65+85= 200 m

As now we have got the distance covered by them in 1 round, we can get the distance covered by them in 5 rounds by multiplying 200 by 5 which is 1000.

So, the total distance covered by them is 1000 m.
