Given :

  • Kaleidoscope is of cylinder in shape.
  • Height of kaleidoscope = 60cm
  • Radius of kaleidoscope = 10.5cm
  • Density of material = 5g/cm³

To find :

Mass of kaleidoscope

Formula used :

  • Volume of cylinder = πr²h
  • Density = mass ÷ Volume

Solution :

First of all we need to find volume of kaleidoscope.

Volume of kaleidoscope = π (10.5 cm)² × (60cm)

Volume of kaleidoscope = π ( 110.25 cm²)×(60cm)

Volume of kaleidoscope = π × 6615 cm³

Volume of kaleidoscope = (22/7)× 6615 cm³

Volume of kaleidoscope = 22× 945 cm³

Volume of kaleidoscope = 20790 cm³

Now we know that ,

Density = mass ÷ volume

Therefore, mass = Density × volume

Mass = 5g/cm³ × 20790 cm³

Mass = 103950 g

Mass = 103.95 kg

ANSWER :

Mass = 103950 grams = 103.95 kg

Answer:

Volume of kaleidoscope = 11 (10.5 cm)2 x (60cm) Volume of kaleidoscope = 1 ( 110.25

cm?)x(60cm)

Volume of kaleidoscope = 1 * 6615 cm cm3

Volume of kaleidoscope = (22/7)x 6615

Volume of kaleidoscope = 22x 945 cm3

Volume of kaleidoscope = 20790 cm3 =

Now we know that,

Density = mass volume

Therefore, mass = Density x volume =

Mass = 5g/cm3 x 20790 cm3

Mass = 103950 g

Mass = 103.95 kg

Step-by-step explanation:

Mass = 103950 grams = 103.95 kg
