there are two ways to solve this.

1) by unitary method,

where,

cost of 72 kg ----------------- Rs 324

cost of 1kg -------------------- Rs x

thus,

x= 324/72=> 162/36= 81/18= 9/2

=> 4.5 Rs

with this, you can find the number of kgs as:

144/4.5 = 1440/45= 32kg

2) directly equate it as:

72kg --------- Rs 324

x kg -------------Rs 144

thus,

x= 144× 72/324 = 32kg
