Given,
Shanti baked 5p croissants
Jon baked twics as many as Shanti
so,
John's croissants = 2 × 5p = 10p
Ching baked 16 fewer than John's
so,
Ching's croissants = 10p - 16
So,
Total number of croissants
= croissants by Shanti + Jon + Ching
= 5p + 10p + 10p - 16
= 25p - 16 Croissants :-)
Shanti baked 5p croissants
Jon baked twics as many as Shanti
so,
John's croissants = 2 × 5p = 10p
Ching baked 16 fewer than John's
so,
Ching's croissants = 10p - 16
So,
Total number of croissants
= croissants by Shanti + Jon + Ching
= 5p + 10p + 10p - 16
= 25p - 16 Croissants :-)
