if the cell carries many function then it is is versatile as well as complex just as plant cell which does absorption of nutrients , throwing out waste manufacturing of energy etc
whereas the cells of humans carry less functions as compared to plants that is to carry oxygen rich blood or any other fluids.not excretion or absorption. so shape n size depends upon the function of cell
