Solution:

As we know,

Electron pair = valence electron+bond pair Formula for calculating electron pair

 =  \frac{V+M-C+A}{2}

Here, V= number of valence electrons

M= no of monovalent atoms attached.

C= charge on the cation

A= charge on the anion

So, the XeOF4 electron pair

 \frac{8 + 4}{2}  = 6

Bond pair of XeOF4 = 5

Lone pair of XeOF4 = 6-5=1

Henceforth, the shape of XeOF4 is square pyramidal and the angle are less than 90 degrees.
