Answer:

Loss of Rs. 200

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Amount of onions bought by Sharad = 1 quintal

As we know,

1 quintal = 100 kg

Cost price of onions = Rs 2000

Selling price of onions = Rs 18 per kg

Since, Sharad bought 100 kg of onions.

So, total selling cost of onions = Rs 100 x 18

                                                   = 1800 Rs

Since, Sharad bought onions in Rs 2000 and sold only in Rs 1800.

So there will be loss of Rs. (2000-1800) = Rs 200

So, there will be loss of Rs. 200 on 100 kg of onions.
