share of Rs.300 is sold at discount of Rs.20. Raye of brokerage is 0.2%.then what is the amount received on sale?

Answer:

share=₹200

discount=₹20

b.=0.2%

solution- discount on share is =₹300-₹20

= ₹280

now, b= 2÷1000×280

=₹0.56

therefore the amount received is = 280-0.56

=₹ 279.44
