Correct question:- Draw P Vs PV graph of an ideal gas at constant temperature.

Solution:-

Given

Parameters P and PV ,where P is pressure and V is volume.

To Draw

The graph between P and PV.

Concepts

The graph can be drawn by using the formula :-

 \boxed{\green{PV\:=\:nRT}}

  • At constant temperature ,nRT will be constant. Hence, PV = Constant.

Thus ,PV remains constant throughout.

STEPS

  1. The graph is P Vs PV. Hence, They will be plotted in y-axis and x-axis respecitvely.
  2. PV remains constant throughout.
  3. P may either increase or decrease.
  4. Thus, the graph would be a straight line parallel to P-axis.

See the attachment for the graph.
