The coronavirus lockdown has given all of us a chance to explore new hobbies, interests and experiences. Some have discovered their love for cooking; others may have realised how much they enjoy painting.
In the last couple of months, I have also come across people who are now willing to take up their newly discovered passions seriously and invest time in working on them.
Come to think of it; the lockdown has been a kind of a unique experience of its own. Our experiences are what distinguish us from others and give us a sense of fulfilment. We learn a lot from our experience, that shapes us into becoming a better person.
Be it a walk in a vineyard tasting different kinds of wine, or learning to make an earthen pot from scratch. Learning to roll pasta at home or sharing a day in the life of a fashionista in Paris - every experience leaves us feeling enriched.
The one good thing I would attribute to the pandemic is that it has bought the world even more closer. It has made the world a smaller place and more accessible - all thanks to the virtual world.
We are now adjusting to the idea of virtual travelling just as we are to the concept of virtual meetings and classes. With virtual training sessions and masterclasses taking the front line, we now have accesses to courses and experiences that would have otherwise been a far-fetched dream, considering our busy lives and hectic schedules.
Based on the idea of sharing experiences in the new normal way, Airbnb recently announced the launch of 'At Home With Airbnb.' - a series of curated experiences from around the world.
Designed to work around the constraints of the pandemic, the initiative brings experiences from all over the world at your disposal, making sure we don't step out of our house.
Talking about some of the experiences available on the site, hosts from Airbnb spoke to Sakal Times.
As the lockdown keeps us from travelling and socialising, it is now more than essential to make the most of our time and find ways to gather experiences of our own.
Be it online courses or classes, group sessions or jam sessions the virtual world has opened up a lot of opportunities for us to explore and now is the time to make the most of us.
I HAVE SHARED MY EXPERIENCE..
EACH AND EVERYONE HAS DIFFERENT EXPERIENCES IN THIS PANDEMIC..
