Childhood is the golden period of every man or woman’s life. We are free to play and have fun. In my childhood I played many games and all of them gave me joy. However, the game that meant a lot to me was cricket. I never missed an opportunity to play it. Batting, fielding, and bowling filled me with thrill.
The moment I came home from school, I would go out to play with my friends. There used to be so much of open space and play grounds then. Real thrill was experienced on Sundays, when a match was played. It used to be the most fun-filled time when I batted for my team chasing runs. At times my team won and at times we lost.
I miss that playing of cricket in my childhood.
