Let, cost of 1 kendamas be x

And, cost of 1 yo-yos be y

ATQ,

3x + 5y = 180----(1)

x + 2y = 64----(2)

from equation (2),

x= 64 -2y

putting the value of x in equation (1):-

3(64-2y) + 5y = 180

=> 192 -6y +5y = 180

=> 192 -y = 180

=> y = 192-180

=> y = 12

putting the value of y, in equation (2):-

x + 2y=64

=>x+2(12)=64

=>x+24=64

=>x=64-24

=>x=40

° x=40, y =12

Hence, cost of 1 kendama is $40
