Given - Cost of apple per kg and amount of apple bought

Find - Amount received from vendor

Solution - Amount of apple bought = 5/2 kg

Amount of apple bought = 2.5 kg

Cost of 1 kg apple = Rs. 120

Cost of bought apples = 120*2.5

Performing multiplication

Cost of bought apples = Rs. 300

Amount received = 500 - 300

Performing subtraction

Amount received = Rs. 200

Hence, Sharmila received Rs. 200 from vendor.
