Shashi prepared some buttermilk and filled it in pouches. After giving 8 pouches to the shop he still had 11 pouches for himself. How many pouches he made in all? If he filled 300ml in each pouch. What was the total litters of the buttermilk he made?

given \\ no. \: of \: pouches \: given \: to \: the \: shop = 8 \\ no. \: of \: pouches \: left \: with \: him = 11 \\ therefore \\ total \: no. \: of \: pouches = no.of \: pouches \: given \: to \: the \: shop \\ = 8 + 11 \\ = 19 \\ again \\ he \: filled \: 300ml \: of \: buttermilk \: in \: each \: pouch \\ therefore \: \\ total \: litters \: of \: buttermilk \: made \: = no.of \: pouches \: given \: to \: the \: shop \times filled \: 300ml \: of \: buttermilk \: in \: each \: pouch \\ = 19 \times 300 \\ = 5700ml \\ = \frac{5700ml}{1000ml} \: \: \:( {1l = 1000ml}) \\ = 5.7l
