Active Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject is performing the action.

Passive Voice refers to a sentence in which the subject undergoes the action. In other words, it is writing the sentence in reverse order.

Example: She is studying English. (Active)

English is being studied by her. (Passive)

NOTE: Sentences that convey habitual actions cannot be changed to passive mode.

She gave him a present. (Active)

A present was given to him by her. (Passive)
