She had beautiful eyes but they were of no use to her_ Who said this and to whom? About whom was this remark made and on what occasion? Why where they eyes of the person useless?​

The extract is taken from the lesson the eyes are not here authored my Ruskin bond

It was said by the new fellow passenger who had entered the compartment after the departure of the girl

the author was able to know about the looks of the girl after he had a conversation with her but he was very eager to know about how she did her hair, weather she had tied them up in a bun, left it loose or plaited it so when he asks about how the girl did her hair to the fellow passenger he replied that he had not noticed her hair but he had noticed her eyes but it was of no use as she was blind .
