Converting into Indirect speech would it turn to

(1) She said that she worked in a hospital

(2) She said that she works in a hospital.

Which one is correct?

1) is the correct answer.

poojakumaresh26: while changing the direct speech which is in present, past and future it always turns into past tense whe. converted into Indirect!!...is this correct this how it is done?
Sonu1819: u have to change it into different tenses accordingly....
