Ans a) she refers to Matilda.

Ans b) she suffered because firstly she was born in a family of clerks and secondly married to a clerk who was not rich. she liked rich people and luxury but was living a poor life

Ans c) she feels tortured because of her poverty, the shabby walls and the worn chairs.

Ans d) she wants to be rich, she is frustrated with poverty, she wants to live a luxurious life, she wants elegant dinner, jewels, frock but was not having any of them.
