About prepositions and their usage:

  • Prepositions are words that relate the position of noun with the rest of the sentence. They tell about the posture of it.
  • Some of the prepositions include: on, in, to, up, down, behind, near, over, beside, beneath, etc.,
  • Sometimes two prepositions may be combined to form a new preposition and they may provide a new meaning as well. Some of which are: into, upto, upon, etc.,
  • We always 'introduce to something/ someone'. So for the first blank it is 'to'.
  • When we talk about the age when something happened, we must use 'at the age'. Thus the second blank has to 'at'.
  • 'As a part of' is a phrase to say 'a category of'.
  • For the fourth blank, it should be 'run a motorbike with her' to mean that she has to go in the bike with the instructor.
