Sheela thought a number halved it and then added 3to it the product of this sum and 6came to 150 what was the number Sheela thought of?

Let the number be x
Therefore ,
X+3 is the sum
(X+3)6=150
6x + 18 = 150
6x= 150-18= 132
X=132/6= 22

and product of (1) eqn and 6 is

(x+3)6=150

6x +18=150

6x=150-18

6x=132

x=132/6
