Sheena wants to plant 28 marigold plants and 36 rose plants in her garden.
What is greatest number of rows possible if each row has the same number of
marigold and rose plants

Let the number of rose plants be ′x′ the number of marigold plants=2×x+5

=2x+5.

given number of marigold plants 15

 ⇒ 2x+5=15

⇒ 2x=10

⇒ x=5

∴  There are 5 rose plants.
