let x=sanjay's present age

x+15=shila's present age

10 years hence:

sanjay's age=x+10

shila's age=x+15+10=x+25

x+25=2(x+10)=2x+20

x=25-20=5

x+15=20

ans:

sanjay's present age=5

shila's present age=20

ANSWER⤵️

Let the present age of Sanjay (Sheila's brother)be x years

∴Present age of Sheila = ( x+ 15 )

Age after 10 yrs

Sheila's age = (x + 15 + 10)= (x + 25)

Sanjay's age = ( x +10)

Now,

According to the given condition,

∴ x + 25 = 2 (x +10)

∴ x+ 25 = 2x + 20

∴ 25 = 2x + 20 - x

∴ 25 = x+ 20

∴ 25 - 20 = x

x = 5

Substituting The value we get;

Present age of Sanjay = 5 yrs

Present age of Sheila = x+15

= 5 + 15

= 20 yrs
