Answer:

Runs to achieve = 10,000

Runs scored= 6,980

Runs required = 3,020

Runs need to score more = 10000 – 6980 = 3020

Hence, he need 3020 more runs to score

Solution:-

  • Here,Runs he wishes to complete is 10,000 runs and he has scored 6980 runs so far in the test matches.now,we need to find how many more runs does he need.so that we can subtract the runs he wishes to complete with how much he has scored so far in test matches.

Let's do it,

___________________________

 \\ \rightarrow\sf{Runs\;he\: needs=10000 - 6980} \\ \\ \rightarrow\sf{Runs\;he\: needs=3020} \\ \\

Therefore,

  • 3020 runs he need to score more.
