Answer:

p=sum of all the sides

so.....5/4+17/8+21/20

their LCM will be 40

so 5/4 will become 50/40

17/8 will become 85/40

and 21/20 will be 42/40

Add them

50/40+85/40+42/40

177/40

so one round is less than

5-177/40

200-177/40

23/40

The Total Jogging Track length= Perimeter of Triangle =

1 \frac{1}{4}  + 2 \frac{1}{8}  + 1  \frac{1}{20}  = 1 + 2 + 1 +  \frac{1}{4}  +  \frac{1}{8}  +  \frac{1}{20}

 = 4 +  \frac{10}{40}  +  \frac{5}{40}  +  \frac{2}{40}

 = 4 +  \frac{17}{40}

 =  4\frac{17}{40}

A round is 23/40 km shorter than 5 Km
