The battle of Shekhar Kheda was fought on 11th October 1724. the battle was fought at Berar. It was fought between the Nizam-ul-Mulk Asif Jhah I of Hyderabad and Mubraiz Khan, the Subedar of Deccan.

In the battle of Shekhar Kheda the Nizam-ul Mulk Asif Jah defeated and killed Mubraiz Khan. In the following year, Mughal Emperor Muhammad Shah Rangeela reappointed Asif Jah as subedar of Deccan.
