Answer:

Sher shah was a very ambitious man. Within a few years, he raised a large army and became powerful in the regions coverd by the present- day states of Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. He defeated Humayun twice and occupied Delhi. Thereafter, he annexed territories in the north and organized the administration of his empire. Unfortunately, ruled for a very brief (short) period. He died in 1545 and was burried at Sasaram.
