Sherman goes golfing every 6th day and Brad goes golfing every 7th.
If Sherman and Brad both went golfing today,how many days until they will go golfing on the same day again?

TO FIND :

=> IF THEY WENT ON THE SAME DAY ...

=> HOW MANY DAYS WILL GO UNTIL THEY MEET ....

THE LEAST COMMON MULTIPLE OF 6 AND 7 :

=> 6 * 7

=> 42

______________________________

MEANS ,

=> AFTER 41 DAYS

=> AND ON THE 42ND DAY THEY WILL MEET
FOR GOLFING .......

→ Sherman goes golfing every 6th days .

→ Brad goes golfing every 7th.



▶ To find :-

→ How many days until they will go golfing on the same day again .

We have,

→ Sherman goes golfing every 6th days .

→ Brad goes golfing every 7th days .

The LCM of 6 and 7 is :-

==> 6 = 2 × 3 .

==> 7 = 7 × 1 .

•°• LCM( 6 , 7 ) = 2 × 3 × 7 = 42 .

This implies that , after 41 days from today OR on 42th days from today ,they will meet again for golfing .
