By Question ,

A & B can together finish a work in 30 days.

So in 1 day 1/30 part of work will be done .

So, in 20 days 20 × 1/30 part of work will be done that is 2/3 .

Now part of work left = 1 - 2/3 = 3-2/3 = 1/3 .

And its given that A completed remaining work in 20 days .And we are required to find in how how many days will A do the whole work . So ;

➳ 1/3 part of work is done by A in 20 days.

➳ Then whole (1) work will be done by A in 20 ÷ 1/3 days = 20 × 3 = 60 days .

Hence the whole work will be done by A in 60 days .
