Shikha's mom is four times as old as Shikha. Twenty years later,she will be twice as old as Shikhawill be then. Find Shikha's age.

Let the present age of Shikha be x years,

Then, present age of her mother = 4x years.

After 20 years,

Age of Shikha = x+20years

Age of her mother = 4x + 20years

According to question,

4x + 20 = 2( x + 20)
4x + 20 = 2x + 40
2x = 20
x = 10 years.

Therefore, Shikha's present age = x years = 10 years.
