Money borrowed:40960

Interest:12.5

On the same money taken out

And given to shipla at same interest and intrest compounded semi annually

Time:1 and Half year :18 months 18/12=3/2

Formula:A=p(1+rate/200)*2x

40960(1+12.5/200)'2*3/2

40960(1+12.5/200)"3

40969(1+125/2000)"3

40960(1+1/16)"3

40960((16+16)+16)"3

40960(17/16)"3

40960(17*17*17)(16*16*16)

10*4913(16*16*16)was cancelled by 40969 and we get 10

4913

4913 is the amount

C.I=A-P

C.I=49130-40960=8170

Answer:The compound interest calculated semi annually is 8170 and amount is ₹49013
