Shirley needs to pack 108 stalks of roses, 108 = 2² × 3³

81 stalks of lilies, 81 = 3⁴

54 stalks of orchids, 54 =  2 × 3³

3³ = 3 × 3 × 3 = 27

The largest number of baskets that can be packed are 27

108 : 27 = 4 roses

81 : 27 = 3 lilies

54 : 27 = 2 orchids

The number of each type of flowers in a basket is

4 roses, 3 lilies and 2 orchids
