Answer:
Total number of eggs= 1200
Total price of eggs=6×1200=7200
0.5% transport charges of 7200 =7200×5/100=360
Total amount spent= 7200+360=7560 for 1200 eggs.
So amount spent for 1 egg =7560/1200=6.3
For a purchase price of 100 to make a profit of GT 10%, it has to be sold at 110
So for a price of 7560 to make 10% profit, he has
to sell at7560×110/100=7560×1.1
This amount he has to get by selling 1200-20=1180 because 20 eggs were broken
Therefore price of 1 egg =7560×1.1/1180
