Shiva can row a boat at the rate of 4 km/h in still water. He takes 8 hours in going 12

km upstream and 12 km downstream. Find the speed of the stream.

Given: Time = 8 hours, distance =12km

formula of speed = D/T

S= 12/8

S= 1.5km/h
