SOLUTION :-

• METHOD - 01

The Poster sold to her friends is :-

1/3 of 288

1/3 × 288

=> 96

The Poster sold to her relatives is :-

2/9 of 288

2/9 × 288

=> 64

The Total poster she sold is

64 + 96 = 160 (ANS)

• METHOD - 02

If 1/3 part of posters sold to friends

& 2/9 part of posters sold to relatives

Total sold parts = 1/3 + 2/9

= 1/3 + 2/9

= (3 + 2)/9

= 5/9

Now sold posters =

5/9 of 288

= 160 (ANS)
