Understanding:

1) Potential Energy =
 \frac{1}{2} k {x}^{2}
where x is displacement from mean position.

2) Total Energy = KE +PE
=1/2 kA^2
where A is amplitude of SHM.
k is spring constant.

Steps:
1) At x = A/2 ,
PE= kA^2/8

2) KE = 3/8KA^2
