Answer:

  • The present age of shobo is 5 years.
  • The present age of her mother is 30 years.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

  • The present age of shobo's mother is 6 times shobo's present age.
  • After 5 years, shobo's age will be one third of his mother's present age.

Need to find:

  • Present age of shobo.
  • Present age of shobo's mother.

Explanation:

Let shobo's present age be x years.

Therefore,

According to question

Shobo's mother present age = 6x.

After 5 years,

Shobo's age = x+5

According to question

=> x+5 = 1/3 of 6x

=> x+5 = 1/3 of 6x

=> x+5 = 2x

=> 2x-x = 5

=> x = 5

Putting value of x in the considered ages,

We get:

Shobo's present age = x

=> 5 years

Shobo's mother present age = 6x

=> 6×5 yrs

=> 30 years

Hence,

The present age of shobo is 5 yearsand the present age of her mother is 30 years

Let Shambo's age be X

and Shambo's morher age be 6X

accroding to question,

 =  >  \frac{x + 5}{6x + 5}  =  \frac{1}{3}  \\  =  > 3(x + 5) = 6x + 5  \\  =  > 3x + 15 = 6x + 5 \\  =  > 15 - 5 = 6x - 3x \\  =  > 10 = 3x \\  =  > x =  \frac{10}{3}

now shambo's age = 10/3 years

and mothers age will be 10/3 ×6 = 20 years
