Step-by-step explanation:

Let the present age of Shobo be 'a' years.

So, his mother's age = 6 times = 6a.

After 5 years, Shobo's age = a + 5

In question, his age will be 1/3 of present age of his mother.

=> (a + 5) = 1/3 * 6a

=> a + 5 = 2a

=> 5 = 2a - a

=> 5 = a

Thus present age of Shobo = 5 year

Age of his mother = 6(5)=30 year

Answer:-

\red{\bigstar} Shobo \large\leadsto\boxed{\rm\green{5 \: years}}

\red{\bigstar} Shobo's mother \large\leadsto\boxed{\rm\green{30 \: years}}

Given:-

Shobo's mother's present age is six times of his age.

Shobo's age after five years will be 1/3 rd of his mother's present age.

To Find:-

The present age of Shobo and his mother.

Solution:-

Let the present age of Shobo be 'x'.

Likewise, his mother's age will be 6x.

\pink{\bigstar}After five years:-

\dashrightarrow\sf{x + 5 = \dfrac{1}{3} \times 6x}

\dashrightarrow\sf{x + 5 = \dfrac{6x}{3}}

\dashrightarrow\sf{3(x+5) = 6x}

\dashrightarrow\sf{3x + 15 = 6x}

\dashrightarrow\sf{6x - 3x = 15}

\dashrightarrow\sf{3x = 15}

\dashrightarrow\sf{x = \dfrac{15}{3}}

\dashrightarrow\boxed{\bf\purple{x = 5}}

Therefore, their present ages are:-

\pink{\bigstar} Shobo :- 5 years

\pink{\bigstar} Shobo's mother :- 6x = 6 × 5 30 years.
